Construction commences soon on alterations and additions to a modest weatherboard cottage in the Bowral Heritage Conservation Area.
Extending northwards, a new artist’s studio and living wing encircle a north facing walled courtyard, providing year-round shelter and warmth around a large elm tree. The northern wall of the cottage pays homage to the historic verandah via a glazed wall open to the north, taking in views to the expansive gardens and harnessing the sun.
